TNPSC Group 2 Age Relaxation
There is no maximum age limit for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars), Scheduled Tribes, Most Backward Classes / Denotified Communities, Backward Classes, Backward Classes (Muslims), and Destitute Widows of all categories.
- Age relaxation up to 10 years above the maximum age limit is given to differently-abled persons
- The maximum age limit for ex-servicemen is 48 years. However, the age concession does not apply to the ex-servicemen applicants who have already been recruited to any class or service, or category.

TNPSC Group 2 2025 Selection Process
TNPSC Group 2 2025 exam is to be conducted in 3 stages for Group 2 (Interview Posts) and 2 stages for Non-Interview Posts.
Stage 1- Preliminary Exam- Candidates applying for the exam must take the preliminary exam, which is an objective-type written test. The prelims exam is only qualifying in nature and candidates have to score a minimum of 90 marks to qualify.
Stage 2- Mains Exam – Candidates who qualify in the preliminary exam need to appear for the mains exam, which is a descriptive written test.
Stage 3- Interview (only for Group 2 Posts) – Candidates who have passed the main exam need to appear for the oral test.
TNPSC Group 2 2025 Exam Pattern
TNPSC Group 2 recruitment 2025 will be completed in 3 phases i.e. prelims, mains, personal interview, and on the other hand there is no interview for TNPSC Group 2 services.
- The preliminary examination will be conducted in bilingual mode i.e. questions will be available in both the English and Tamil languages.
- There will be 200 questions for 300 marks.
- The duration of the TNPSC Group 2 Prelims Exam is 3 hours.
- The minimum qualifying mark in TNPSC Prelims is 90.

TNPSC Group 2 2025 Admit Card
The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission will issue the TNPSC Group 2 2025 admit card after receiving all the applications within time. The admit card is issued to the intimate candidates about the venue, date, time, and roll number of candidates. It is necessary to carry admit card along with or original id proof to the examination center, otherwise, candidates will be restricted to sit in the examination hall if they failed to show admit card and Id proof.
TNPSC Group 2 2025 Answer Key
The Answer key of TNPSC Group 2 2025 will be published on the official website of the Tamilnadu Public Service Commission. Once the examination will be conducted, the Commission publishes an answer key on its official website. Candidates can download the answer key and calculate their scores. TNPSC Group 2 2025 Result
Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission will release the result for TNPSC Group 2 and Group 2A Services after the successful completion of each phase of the examination. Candidates who qualify for the prelims will be invited for the mains examination and candidates who qualify for the cut-off of mains will be invited for the last process i.e. Personal Interview. There is no interview round for TNPSC Group 2A Services.
